It’s super soft and just what we needed to extend the life of our old Casper mattress. No smell. The unfortunate part is you get to zip it into its case yourself. It’s frustrating, it’s awkward, I’m still not sure if I have it on right. Also this sucker moves! It’s hanging 3 inches or so off the bottom of the bed and has shifted two inches over to my husband’s side as well. You can’t just grab it and shift it back either, you have to strip the bed to move it back and a day or two she’s shifted again. It’s fine, it does offend my perfectionism sometimes, but I just close my eyes and make the bed without looking. Also, my husband generally gets too hot sleeping and this mattress pad does not make him too hot so that is a big plus. Plenty of thickness to make a difference and we’ve been sleeping on it for months. It’s definitely better than the off brand memory foam pads I’ve purchased in the past. ... show more

This topper is awesome. I didn’t want one that was cooling so this is perfect for me, but I also don’t find that it makes me hot, which is nice. It honestly feels like my bed is not only taller but wider since putting it on. I just love it. The only downside was how hard it was to get it to fit inside the removable cover.
