Great deal on a set it and forget it solar watch. The only complaint is that you can't see the hands in the dark. It does have a digital display that lights up, but too small for my older eyes.

Less than $60 for a Solar Watch. You'll never need a battery replacement. But who needs a watch these days when everyone has a phone? Looks great! Unbelievable for the price, just don’t expect a fine watch. I own the previous version, which is also great. I just don’t especially like the way it looks. It looks like a watch for a little kid. This watch looks like it’s for a grown up. Great beater/travel watch. If you break it (not easy to do!), or if you lose it, it’s not the end of the world. Best cheap REAL watch out there. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because it’s a pain in the neck to set. It’s actually a 4 1/2. It’s not supposed to be a dress watch or a precision Swiss (or even Japanese) watch, but it’s worth way more than the price would suggest. ... show more

This is a big watch with a case diameter of 48.5mm. The case and strap is resin, and the back is stainless steel. I am pleased with how light it is. The resin watch strap is very long, but fits a 6-inch wrist all the way to maybe an 8 inch wrist. I was able to cut off 3/4 of an inch from the tip of the strap. Actual lug width is 18mm, even though the watch band is 24mm wide. For being such a big watch, it is surprisingly light. The resin wrist strap is also light in weight, and very comfortable, so I won't need to replace it at all. This watch also has a digital display at the 6 o'clock position that you can scroll through to tell you the time, world time, date, alarms, stopwatch and timer. There is a light for the digital display that you can adjust from 1 second to 3 seconds. The analog dial is not illuminated, but has lume on the hands and indices. There is no second hand. When you set the time on the digital display, the analog hands will move to the correct hour and minute. Pretty neat. I had my doubts, but ended up liking this watch a lot. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Great watch for casual wear. The sand color goes well with many outfits. Im glad I bought it, yet my wife didnt at first. She didn't like the sand color at first, but now likes it now that she see's it goes well with deferent shirts. On another note, this Casio has a similar functionality as a G Shock and I love the Tough Solar. Plus this watch seems to be more durable than my Timex that used to work. Caution: just don't go crazy with it because it has resin glass instead of mineral. Overall, great watch for the budget ... show more

A good value for the money Tough Solar watch. The band is one star: stiff, to long and unconformable to wear. When you buy this watch and agree with me, consider purchasing the 18mm to 22mm band adapter. I choose Zichao but have not received them yet. By pressing the lower right button a number of times, the LCD shows month-date-seconds then time with seconds then day of the week with seconds. What is preferred is month-date-day of week. I do not need seconds on each display. UPDATE: Zichao 18mm to 22mm adapter does not work. The 18mm tang is not lone enough. ... show more
