Description

The Medium Amber Bone SS Stockman is a part of the Amber Bone SS Family. Our Amber Bone color and Peach Seed jig are signatures of the Case brand and the true heart of the Case line. The Tru-Sharp surgical steel blades ensure lasting beauty and reliable function. Stockmans pack three blades in a convenient but very practical pocket knife. This durable folding knife features our peach seed jig amber bone handle and stainless steel blades. The Clip and Sheepfoot blade sit on the pocket end while the Spey blade sits on the cap end. The Clip blade is commonly used as a multi-purpose blade and preferred for detail work. The Sheepfoot blade allows for added strength at the point making it great for carving and achieving a clean cut. The Spey blade is commonly used as an all-purpose utility blade. This durable folding knife is constructed with Case Tru-Sharp Stainless Steel which is a special high-carbon steel that helps the blades hold an edge longer than conventional steel. It also offers extraordinary blade strength and corrosion resistance. This multi-purpose pocket knife is perfect for everyday situations, hiking, or hunting. Comes conveniently packaged in a box. Made in Bradford, PA, USA from domestic and imported materials.

  • I Collect Knives....This is a MASTERPIECE
Size: 2" Color: Red Stag
Here's my sad tale of woe. We were in 'Vegas, went to The Wizard of Oz at Sphere, and Yours Truly, who is never without a pocket knife, had one. I'm one of those guys who has a knife in every pair of pants all of the time and never gave it a thought. I had to leave it at the door and it was not recoverable. They had no method by which to leave it at the door and retrieve it later. Well, we were there to see The Wizard of Oz (Amazing. A Do Not Miss!!), so what else could I do? Left knife behind, saw the Wizard. Best Thing Ever. A couple of days later I did a search for best pocket knives. CASE kept coming up over and over again. I prefer smaller pocket knives and when I saw this one, WOW, It looked way too good to be true and at a very reasonable price. What the heck. With Amazon's easy return I ordered it. It was waiting for me when I got home. What a gorgeous knife! Small, fits easily in the coin pocket of my jeans, is exceptionally sharp, and with the brass and chrome combo on the hard flamed bone handle it really makes the grade. My wife even said it was beautiful. I have no doubt that this will last a lifetime and will get handed down over generations. Case knives aren't cheap knockoffs like so many pretty knives that look good but won't hold an edge. Case is the real deal. And will be my go-to from now on. ... show more

  • Excellent!
Size: 2.5" Color: Navy Blue Bone
Why did I wait 66 years to buy a Case pocket knife? I didnt expect much, but it did have great reviews and I wanted a new pocket knife. But wow, I didnt expect this level of feel, fit, finish, and quality of a knife. Oh, and looks awesome too!

  • Quality and is as advertised
Size: 1.9" Color: Antique Smooth Bone
Good knife has a sharp edge and good construction case always makes a good knife. Haven’t had to sharpen it yet. We’ll see how easy it is to sharpen and how well it holds an edge.

  • Well made, great size
Size: Medium Color: Brown
3 blades, pocket size especially for jeans. I’m a female so pockets can be smaller and this fits great without bulk. It measures 3 1/4 inches. Nice finish. I bought this to replace one identical but lost. Case is a great brand, well made and holds up well under heavy use. The one I lost I’d had 10 years and it still worked well and looked good. It’s well worth the price and I highly recommend it. ... show more

  • A fine Case traditional pocket knife
Size: 3.3" Color: Yellow CV Lg
The yellow delrin knives are the bargains in the Case line. I guess people who like traditional knives want natural materials like wood, bone or stag in their handles. But I remember yellow plastic knife handles from my childhood and I'm pretty old. Yellow handled knives have been around a really long time--long enough to qualify as "traditional". So, here we have a Large (or Jumbo, depending on the terminology) Stockman, made by W.R. Case in chrome vanadium non-stainless steel with a traditional yellow delrin handle. And it's just about perfect for a nice looking working knife that doesn't cost a fortune. The only negative thing I've found in my particular sample is a little gapping on one of the liners. There's also a little rubbing of the spey and sheepsfoot blades but that's present in all my Stockman pattern knives no matter who makes them. Otherwise, the knife is easy to open but the blades are tight when open. There's no wobble or side to side movement in the open position with any of the blades. Except for the gap, the fit and finish is excellent. The CV blades sharpen quickly and only need a touch up to remain sharp. I like Case's carbon steel much better than their stainless steel. Sizewise, I really like the biggest Stockman pattern. The grip surface on these 4.25" knives is easy to manipulate and hold onto. If you have large hands, anything below 4" can sometimes become hard to hold onto and that translates into the need for an Bandaid. I speak from experience. I've been using this knife for several weeks. The blades have taken on a nice patina and have only needed an occasional swiping on ceramic sticks to keep them cutting. I don't do heavy cutting with slipjoint knives but this Stockman could handle a fair amount of work without a problem. I own several Stockman pattern knives with some costing several times the price of this Case. However, this Case performs as well as any of them and looks nice and traditional as well. ... show more
