  • Great for toddler
Great toy saxophone for my two and a half grandson. This Jr version only has four buttons which are easy for my grandson to manipulate while playing a tune.

  • Falls apart extremely easily.
Do not buy! It is overall a good kids toy saxophone, but after two weeks it fell apart. The buttons started coming off and ripping. After a while we weren't able to put them back on. My 2 year old got it because his older sister was playing saxophone and he was jealous. He was very disappointed that it fell apart after only a little but of playing with it. Makes sense that it is so cheap. ... show more

  • Nice beginner sax
Very happy with this purchase. It plays a nice melody and works great for my youngest son, who is obsessed with my oldest's son $3000 saxophone. My oldest even enjoys playing on this one to entertain his brothers. It is a good beginner instrument, is durable, and plays a nice sound. I would recommend it for the youngest of your budding musicians. It's held up to the abuse of three boys and is still around a playing music. And the nice thing is the sound isn't annoying. ... show more

  • Fun with very good quality
It is a fun music toy with good quality, and my kids love it. But can you make it to SO note?

  • They dont sound like the actual instruments
My 5 yr old loves both the trumpet and saxophone, he also has the clarinet! When I made the purchase I understood they were toys meant for the introduction of instruments. They dont sound like the actual instruments, but the keys do change the sound of the noise. The keys are color coded and the box that they came in have a color guide to play a few songs like twinkle twinkle little star. The material it's made out of is a bit fragile but I have taught my son to be nice to his toys or else he will not get a replacement. Overall, very happy with it. ... show more

  • If it could get no stars .....broken upon arrival
This is the cheapest made piece of plastic. If the mouth piece was broken off upon arrival imagine how long it would last in the hands of a kid? Very disappointed.

  • Nice toy
It's a nice toy, resembles the look of a real saxophone. It is actually a set of 4 small horns, that actually can be played simultaneously (4 notes). No chance of tone modulation with blow strength.
