If you're looking for a compact mixer with great quality at a great price. "Look no further." I bought my first Black&Decker hand mixer 20 years ago. There was absolutely nothing wrong with my 20 year old mixer. The only reason I replaced it was that it was looking a little old. I have 2 KitchenAid stand mixers and use them regularly. They are excellent! Because I live by myself I’ve started to make smaller portions and thought it was time to get a handheld mixer. I didn’t want anything fancy, just basic and needed a lightweight mixer. This mixer seemed to answer all my needs. It is very light which is perfect for my arthritic hands. It’s very basic with just a set of beaters which is what I was looking for. However there are two issues. It’s a little difficult to put in the beaters but they do go in with a little struggle. The biggest problem is with the speeds. There really isn’t a slow speed and all the other speeds are almost the same. Bottom line. I bought this in “like new condition “ for $11. It’s worth that price. However for the reasonable full price of about $20 is still too much for this product. I would look around at other handhelds if you’re going to spend $20-$25. I would imagine you could get a better choice than this one... ... show more
