I have to be very impressed or disappointed to write reviews. I researched and read tons of reviews before finally purchasing. After years of buying the cheaper machines that were rated decently, just to be disappointed in the long run. Definitely spend the extra $$ for this one! Glad I didn’t listen to the few negative reviews I saw. The suction is great, it glides under furniture so I can get under more than I’ve ever been able to with others, it leaves the carpet pretty dry and I can actually tell when looking if the water is still coming up. Good size tank for an upright cleaner and was easy to assemble. My carpets are the cleanest they have been since I moved in and we have pets who like to mark!     • A true miracle worker of a machine

The media could not be loaded. I have owned several carpet cleaners over the years, but the BISSELL ProHeat 2X Revolution Pet Pro Plus is by far the best one I’ve used. The cleaning power is impressive. It removed stains from my carpets and rugs with very little effort and made them look almost brand new again. One thing I really love about this machine is how efficient it is. The suction is strong, so the carpets don’t stay overly wet after cleaning, which helps them dry faster. It also pulls up a surprising amount of dirt that regular vacuuming leaves behind. The upholstery attachment is another huge plus. I used it on my couch and it worked beautifully, lifting dirt and stains easily. It’s simple to attach and maneuver, which makes cleaning furniture much easier than I expected. The machine itself is also very user-friendly. The water tanks are easy to fill and empty, and the controls are straightforward. Even if you’ve never used a carpet cleaner before, it’s very easy to figure out. If you have pets, kids, or just want your carpets to look fresh again, I highly recommend the BISSELL ProHeat 2X Revolution Pet Pro Plus.     • Great Residential Carpet Cleaner and Great for Pet Clean Up

We purchased this carpet cleaner for small jobs at home and used it for the first time today. We foster kittens, so this is primarily to clean the foster kitten room carpet. I really like how easy it is to use! I had vacuumed the carpet well before I started, but I was AMAZED how much fur I pulled out of the carpet that I couldn't even see or detect in any way. Also, it pulled a couple of stains out as well. I haven't used any of the cleaning attachments as yet, but I am impressed with it so far. ... show more

Got it today, used it today. Easy assembly. Good picture instructions. Seems to be a quality unit. Be sure and lift by the lift handle. Seems silly but the operation handle is lighter duty and the unit is slightly heavy. Rolls great though. Does have to be empty quite often but does a great job. Do recommend spraying bad stains for pretreatment. Extracts water from carpet very well. Be sure to clean after use to maintain the unit, debris will set up like concrete. Good value for the money. Would give five stars but don't know how long it will give good performance. ... show more

    • Easy to use and love not renting!

I love this machine! A great deal of our home is hardwood floors, and I was going to rent a carpet cleaner, but the idea of hauling that machine up and down the stairs to do the cleaning I wanted to do seemed ridiculous so I thought it might make sense to just get something more permanent. We actually use a small handheld Bissell all the time and it's awesome. And now the bigger one is truly amazing. The only issue I have is that it does need its water changed a lot so you have to work the carpet, change the water, then work the carpet and back and forth, so it takes a while, but it does a great job of cleaning the carpet. It got all the stains out and the carpet looks amazing (many spilled drinks 8"in a game room that developed stains). I may have also just used too much water because it is taking more than 30 minutes to dry, but I blame that on user error, not on the machine. Note the red power button that took me forever to figure that out. ... show more

Cleans really well, but I learned pretty quickly that how you use it makes a big difference in the results. What I liked: – Pulled a ton of dirt out of the carpet – Easy to fill and empty – Noticeable difference after one use What I didn’t like: – Can leave carpet too wet if you overdo it – Takes time to fully dry Real-life use: I used this on a heavily soiled area and sprayed way too much enzyme cleaner at first. I ended up spending hours rinsing and extracting water, and it still stayed really wet overnight—even with a dehumidifier running. The next day, I went back over it using mostly water and focused on slow extraction passes, and that made a huge difference. So this definitely works, but technique matters a lot. Good for anyone dealing with stains or high-traffic areas, especially pet messes, but be careful not to oversaturate. Good machine that does the job well, just use less solution than you think and take your time with drying passes. ... show more
