I sized up as recommended and got a 40 instead of my usual 39. When I first put them on they were very tight and I was concerned about the fit but after wearing them around the house for an hour they loosened up and fit wonderfully. I have arthritis in my feet and these shoes personally help minimize my pain to more tolerable level. They also arrived much sooner than expected which was a delightful surprise. ... show more

After hearing they are recommended by podiatrists, and having had problems with foot pain for quite some time, I decided to splurge. These are not comfortable at all, and in fact they make my feet hurt more than before.

Bought shearling Boston's on Sept 1, 2022. It is now Oct 24, 2022 and the shearling has completely come off the inside of the top of the left shoe; where the tops of your toes sit. I called Birkenstock directly because they have always been helpful in the past but amazon and pacific soles are NOT AUTHORIZED RETAILERS and there is nothing they can do. Buyer beware! ... show more
