I got this to replace my old mower that I bought 20 years ago from the local hardware store when we moved into our house. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this mower and appearance. Only required some minor assembly and engine oil was included in the package. Height adjustments are easy to make and everything is clearly marked. The engine starts up with one pull and runs flawlessly so far . Seems like a quality machine all around and luxury compared to my old one in its best condition. I feel spoiled using this one . This thing is powerful. We have been using it on our .25 acre yard and we get some intense growth. Lots of weeds and strong brush. This thing handles it without issue. It is as advertised. Easy to use and store as it is not overly large. Uses gas as advertised. And it looks as pictured. No complaints from me.

The mower seems to have more power than my old mower. The engine is a bit bigger and more heavy. It is a bit more difficult to push. It does not have a shut-off valve for the gasoline. It starts easily and runs well. Overall, I can recommend it to other potential buyers. Assembly essentially consisted of attaching the handle. Much easier than other mowers I have had.

Unpackaged the mower and everything looked good. Upon first start it seemed to vibrate more than I was use to. After the first use I inspected the blade and noticed the drive shaft from the motor was a bit off center causing the blade to vibrate the whole motor assembly. After about 2 hours of use the plastic motor cover vibrated off. The screws holding it in place were threaded into plastic and completely stripped. After trying to fix that the exhaust cover was the next to go. Then the plastic dip stick assembly started to shows signs of cracking. After another 2 hours of use the whole plastic dip stick housing cracked and began leaking oil. I was desperate to make this mower work but by now zip ties and JB weld were holding together a mower with less than 8 hours of use. The grand finale was the whole plastic dip sticking house broke off spraying oil into the air and all over my leg burning my calf. I should have returned the mower after the first use. I run a small non profit community garden and was determined to make this cheap motor work. I wanted to believe it could get the job done. I was wrong. I am now left without a mower, out the money spent on it, and nursing a burn on my leg. I could assume the only problem was that it was defective and sent with a bent drive shaft. If you have to purchase this mower make sure to inspect it before using it for the first time and return it if anything seems wrong. I would be happy to be proven wrong and that this single mower was defective from day one. Until I am proven otherwise I can not recommend buying this mower. It is poorly built and even worse clearly safe.

Good value. Good packaging. Quick delivery. Easy assembly. Engine oil and spark plug wrench were included. Powerful engine and no primer needed. Not quite as noisy as my previous "TB" mower (which only lasted 4 years) and appears to be better made. Would like larger rear wheels...difficult to push up hill. Only used once...will amend review if any issues crop up. Interesting note....My local Lowe's and Home Depot stores in California have stopped selling gasoline engine mowers.

Update: increased product rating as a result of using this mower for 4 weeks now on several jobs. Sellers response to my first review was timely and appreciative of the details provided. And has forwarded the input to their engineers to address improvements. Positives noted over usage. Aside from the minor issues previously noted. It’s a tough little machine. Using side ejector it powers through damp grass that clogs our more expensive brand mowers. Just a slight decrease in mowing pace and no problem. Easy assembly and nice looking machine but… while the engine is strong and powers through thick grass well. There are issues. First because it is not self propelled the need for occasional manual maneuvering which requires lifting of either the front or rear wheels is necessary. Unfortunately because the gauge of material used for the mower platform is is inadequate. This causes the mower blades to strike against the underside of the deck. Which will damage both deck and blades. Tightness of blades and component was confirmed. But problem persists. Second … the rear bagger is poorly designed and not user friendly. The upper hangers are an over hook configuration which allows the bag to be easily dislodged as you are mowing. And because of this configuration… they rip any lawn debris bag when you attempt to empty into one. Next, the opening in bagger is significantly smaller than the bagger itself. Creating problem with emptying. The entire bag gets plugged and emptying must be accomplished by manually reaching into the bagger and pulling out the clipping while trying to balance the debris bag to prevent shedding by hanger hooks. An unnecessary and undesirable, dirty pain in the butt. Simple changes would make this a winning… change hangers on bag to undertook design will eliminate dislodging during operation. And prevent issue of tearing lawn debris bags during unloading. Heavier gauge metal for deck would prevent flexing and eliminate blade strike. Enlarge the throat of bagger to parent clogging and unloading difficulties. Or install ability to open rear of bag for unloading.
