Great quality and size. I will order more "stuffing" to make it fluffier, but it is fine as is. The color is nice and bright and it's well made. Comfortable and hold it's shape well. Great for kids or adults.

We've had this bean bag for 2yrs now, and the shell itself has held up very well. We bought it for our now 7yr old daughter, and as you can see by all of these pics, it has been dragged and used all around our house and for many different reasons since she was 5. It's not as full as it looks in the description picture, which is disappointing, but that hasn't bothered her and has been just fine for her short and slim size at 48 inches, and 45 lbs. Our older tween who is 5'5 has even used it at times, but I honestly wouldn't recommend this for that age unless you plan on filling it full of extra beans. We've had no issues with harsh chemical smells or thing's staining the outer shell, and our daughter is a pretty messy kiddo. The outer shell is made of a slick, shiny material that's easy to wipe clean with a wet towel. It's not a furry fabric type of material that needs to be laundered, which is a plus for our purpose, and is the main thing this bag has going for it. We love that she's been able to easily carry or drag this thing around on her own, and is one of the main reasons she wanted one. This item is one of the good ole Big Joe bean bags that we were looking for, and for that I'm happy. Because this is not very full and the beans themselves are pretty lightweight, it's easy to store and travel with if needed, as well. The only negative thing I can say about this beanbag, and for some it might be a pretty big negative, is that it's not as full as we'd hoped. Especially as time goes on. You can always buy and add additional beans, but we just never did get around to buying more, and I really didn't think we needed to spend additional money for an item to look as advertised. Nor should we have to. We are still pleased with this purchase however, especially for our purpose of purchasing, and because our daughter has genuinely enjoyed it, and used it. The fact that it's lower to the ground and doesn't offer much support due to not being full, makes this 98 inch size ideal for younger kiddos. I would recommend buying a larger size for teens or adults, or buying those additional beans to add, because the size of the shell itself, is a perfect size. This Big Joe classic beanbag is the perfect size for my five-year-old grandson. He absolutely loves it. He can carry it around by the handle, and sit or lay on it. It is very comfortable, and the bright blue color is pretty. It is made with a very durable material, and should hold up to a boy’s rugged use.     • Beans deflate and bag rips

Very cute and great size for a child but it has some problems. The kids are small and don't weigh much, but the beans inside still got squished and the chair got very flat like a floor pillow. It was kept stationary and not moved around but the seams started to fray and come apart. I opted to refill it will strips of old clothes that were too ratty to donate and I got out the upholstery thread and needle and repaired it, so it is still in use and very well loved by the kids. The cloth strips actually helped give it some heft and weight to keep it from slipping around so much, so I accidentally found an improvement. The remaining beans shift to the top of the bag above the heavier cloth strips, so you get a squishy soft seat with a more sturdy base! Wish it didn't need so much tender love and care to keep in operation, but it is what it is. If you're willing to do the same amount of repair and upkeep then it's not bad. The double zipper that keeps the beans in is well-designed and more sturdily constructed. Hasn't ripped, hard to open and close (as it should be, don't want curious kids breaking in and spilling beans everywhere) so I am very happy with that. ... show more
