I mainly bought the scooter for vacation. I love to hike & take walks to soak in lots of nature, but I had a terrible accident last year and lost some use in my arm & walk with a cane. I wasn't ready for a motorized wheelchair & this scooter has been a God send for my mobility. We went to the Great Smoky Mountains & we found quite a few trails that were paved & I felt like I had this freedom of movement while scooting around. The scooter was very well packaged & my husband helped me put it together with little trouble. I bought the bright color so I could be visible to others & used the headlight around sunset. Everything is practically perfect about this scooter. It holds a charge for a long time, but I don't think I've rode it more than 5-6 miles at any one time. It's lightweight, but sturdy. I now ride it around my neighborhood, local parks & along the waterfront. I attached a clam shell type case to the handle bars for my phone/keys, a water bottle holder & a cable lock. If I had to say something negative about the scooter, I'd say the seat is not that comfortable for longer rides & it doesn't have the power to make it up hills. When I see a hill coming up, I try to go faster to get more momentum to get to the top. It goes up the hill very slow & sometimes to the point where you are using your feet to get the rest of the way there. But the scooter still deserves a 5 in my opinion. Also, I shopped both Beston & Phantomgogo. I think the scooters are the same from both places. I have the logo from phantom but purchased it from Beston. The photo on the Beston site shows a more yellow scooter. I like the color better than the photo which is more of a neon lime yellow.

Bought this scooter in July. Excellent components, Allen head screws, dual brakes, handle bar ON button, pneumatic tires, very good headlight. After 5 months and possibly 25 charges the battery is not only dead - its completely inaccessible (no user serviceable parts inside). Even if a replacement battery were available, there is no way to contact the manufacturer. And no literature for the Chinese manufacturer was included (probably a return?). Beston Sports is a distribution company out of Australia with NO website. I could live with being forced to purchase a replacement battery, but dead in the water after 5 months and $566 spent, its totally unacceptable. Do not buy this scooter!! And Amazon has been NO help! You are blowing $500 for a couple months of riding. And with Beston Sports dropping the price of this scooter $150 from when I bought it, it should give you all kinds of red flags. Buy American from an American website!!! I can't fault Amazon in this as they've been on my side after several phone conversations. Twice they contacted the seller and after the second try, a battery (not OEM) and a new controller (also not OEM) were sent to me. Unfortunately, the color coding of circuit wires between the scooter and the controller, and the controller and battery were lost or changed in the upgrade of controller and battery. There are simply too many combinations between plugs to successfully find the correct combination, apart from the obvious positive battery plug and two five prong plugs.! There is no resolution at this point, so its just $500 down the tube. I have to say that Amazon stuck with me as a liaison with the company. While it turned out to be a nearly 2 month dialogue, Beston finally had a 5 prong Controller manufactured and sent out (with a new battery), and everything operates as it should. I would say the scooter is faster than with the original battery/controller. The only caveat that comes to mind in all of this, is that we got caught up in a model upgrade, and Beston had to manufacture an earlier Controller to get the scooter up and running again. Very satisfied with the result even with the time element involved.

I looked for cheap... what I got was inexpensive. I did not think I'd be driving this as much as I do! Yes... a suspension upgrade would be nice. A little MORE power would be nice. A better seat would be awesome.... but that's what the expensive ones are for! I plan on getting another to keep on the sailboat!

My camping friends all have electric scooters and/or bicycles. I have hip problems and cannot lift my leg high enough to mount most scooters or bicycles. But this step-through scooter makes it easy for me to get onto the scooter! I have no trouble keeping up with my friends and I’m getting a lot of distance per charge. I added a more comfortable seat, and this thing ROCKS! The basket is very helpful! I was thinking about getting a tow vehicle for my RV, but I think the scooter will do just fine instead! I don’t even need a bike rack — I place it behind the driver and passenger seats in my RV and one bungee holds it in place! It’s light enough for me to lift it into the RV. I’m a “happy camper”!!

Electric scooter is awesome. My kids love it. Minus the fact that we can't find tubes or tires that will fit if needed to change out. As right now we actually need to replace both and we have had it for a year now. I may end up just buying him something different if we can't replace the tires and tubes. They aren't easy to get on and off.

Just got it today and so far am having a blast on it! My only issue is the seat won't stay in position, it lowers when I ride on it. My husband is going to fix that but that's the reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5. Otherwise, it's a great scooter, I love the basket, the light, how it folds up, and the ease of riding.

I just bought the scooter I live in an apartment complex and I’m I’m only getting about 2 miles and the battery goes dead and I weigh 140 pounds. I think I’m going to have to return this which is a pain.
