I usually use Shoei helmets but purchased the Bell lithium as a second helmet but after been wearing it for a week now, it has become my daily helmet to commute. It’s very lightweight and live the sun internal sun visor. The ventilation is superb, the helmet kept me cool in hot California weather. The visibility all around is excellent and love the fact it comes with the pinlock anti fog visor. The only drawback was the noise level specifically when you are riding on the highways at highway speeds. The wind noise is very loud compared with my shoei gt air 2. Overall. I absolutely love this helmet! It doesn't shift around and the aerodynamics cuts right through the wind. It's so quiet too! I still wear ear plugs because I don't want my tinnitus to get worse. 22.06 ece rated and MIPS. It fits my head perfect. My large sized bell qualifier was a little loose. Had to exchange for larger size. Runs small. Larger size fit snug and felt comfortable, however it has an excessive amount of wind of wind noise in my opinion even when vents are all closed. Tried using foam ear plugs but they become uncomfortable after a couple hours riding. Helmet is not heavy and does not buffet at all and is very good in that respect. Would not consider this a good touring helmet. Short trips only. Will not purchase this particular model in the future. ... show more

Love this helmet, the xl size fits me perfectly... looks as good as the pictures. The reason I love it was how pleasant it was to bounce my face off of the asphalt. Sure I was only going about 20 on a scooter I landed on my face. Felt like hitting a pillow.. bell is now the only helmet I will buy.

FIT IS HORRIBLE. I measured my head and I’m 59cm exactly. The description said that a Large would fit 59-60cm. I ordered a large. I can barely squeeze my head into it! The cheek pads push my face in and it give me headaches. I wore it for a few hours over and over as I rode hoping it would break in. IT DOES NOT. I would return it and get another one but I’ll probably go with a different brand. I need an Xl for this to fit. But I don’t k own of it’s worth a shot ... show more

Everything about this helmet seems like good value for the money, except it is brutally uncomfortable. After wearing for about 10 minutes, I get severe pain in the back of my head. If I can't wear it, it's not very useful as a helmet.
