My second time asking for Asurion’s assistance, and they didn’t disappoint me at all as the first time. I spoke with Asurion customer service regarding my issue with the merchandise and he was very helpful. He explained to me how the process would work. I was credited my full refund within 24hrs after shipping my merchandise back to them in my Amazon gift card balance.

Warranty plan was definitely worth it. Had no issues whatsoever with my claim. If it wasn't for the warranty, I would've had to come outta pocket for my dash cam all over again.

I've had several of their prepaid protection plans over the years, and for the most part, my experience has been pretty straightforward and relatively fuss-free. What I appreciate most is the timely claim processing. Even with some of the negative reviews you might see out there, I can honestly say that I have never had an issue with a prepaid Asurion protection plan. It's often my go-to choice when I want to avoid unexpected deductibles on new purchases, which is a big win in my book. They really do try to handle things with care and minimal fuss, which is exactly what you want when something goes awry with a prized new gadget or tool. However, there's a key caveat that's worth pointing out, and it's a significant one for me: these plans operate on a limited time clock. Whether it's one, two, or four years, once that time expires, you're essentially left to fend for yourself if something breaks down. As someone who strives for longevity in my purchases, especially for items I genuinely enjoy and rely on, this can be a bit of a letdown. I'm not usually in the market to replace things often; I prefer my products to last. I've occasionally found myself cancelling a plan if a product just didn't work out for me, and that process has always been smooth, with no impact on my overall positive view of how Asurion operates. For those times when you want a more enduring safety net, I've found Asurion's Home Plus plan to be a more comprehensive option, though it does come with its own set of criteria, coverage details, and associated costs (some devices have a zero deductible, while others can range from $50 or be as high as $125). So, while the individual protection plans are reliable for their duration, always consider your long-term needs. Hopefully, this insight helps you navigate the world of online product assurance!

Cover my Item. I had it for about 2 years it stopped working was able to get my payment back minus the cost of the protection plan. I was easy I just went online to fill out the claim, got my info on how to return the item. As soon as the carrier had it in their possession, I got an email about 20 minutes later with an Amazon credit code was able to buy a new item and guess what I put another protection plan on it just in case again. I was easy to file the claim, it was easy to return the item. I will always get a protection plan. It just makes sense with equipment not made to last and higher cost of Items now thanks to the tariffs that are in play.

Customer service was great. They issued a gift card for the full amount after I packaged and returned the product that failed within the warranty period.
