Very quick and professional service. Helpful and knowledgeable (chat) claims representative. Filing and receiving okay on claim about 10 min. Would highly suggestspending the few extra dollars and adding a protection plan to your purchase. My claim was on a hula-hoop.

I'm not sure how they can make money on a 2 year warranty on air mattresses for $2.99 but they offered it so I took it. I bought 4 air mattresses. Two were leaking within one year and I made a claim for both. The air mattresses saw careful and infrequent use so I felt this was a legitimate claim. The claim process doesn't have awareness of your original purchase price (and the price had changed in the past year) so I had to go back to my original order. It did not refund sales tax, nor did it ask what I paid in sales tax. I suppose I could have included that in the price I entered but I also wanted to be as legit as possible because I plan to keep buying air mattresses with this protection plan as long as they offer it. An electronic Amazon gift card was immediately emailed to me indicating they did not have a human evaluate my claim. I suppose they make money when someone like myself buys a protection plan on a cheap belt sander, knowing I was planning to use it for 100+ hours in one month, assuming it'd break and then it never did and still works great!

I'm glad we added this protection on the Bike Cover we purchased, as it ripped and ties broke. It was nice to get a gift card for the amount of the original purchase however I didn't realize it wasn't for the full cost - it excluded taxes. Secondly, we bought a replacement on Amazon and it was nearly $20 more than the original. So, while we did get our money back on the original product it was short by the tax amount and didn't allow a replacement as the new one cost nearly 33% more.

Here -2-23 2026, I did pay for coverage on an item the same day I purchased "covered item'. ASURION is now backpedaling away from coverage and telling me to do other things rather than inquire to Them saurian, for plan insurance coverage help and purchased part replacement.
