Contrary to what ASURION says, the claim process is NOT super easy. This is based on my experience twice with this company. They make you jump through multiple hoops just to deny your warranty. First you file a claim, then they email you saying you have to fill out a Claim Facilitation Form where you provide all your personal information, the details of the item, and details of the claim which is 2 pages long. After a few days, they ask you to provide photos of the front, back, and serial number of the item. After a few more days, they ask for a video of the item asking to show specifically what is wrong. A few days pass still, and they email you to call their number to speak to an agent where they say your item is not covered. This is how insurance companies make money: by denying your legitimate claims. You are much better off saving this money and putting it in an emergency funds piggy bank. BUYER BEWARE.

I always purchase Asurion protection plans when I purchase electronics or any other item that can break or malfunction, due to the price and ease of filing a claim. When I file a claim, I can get it all done within minutes, and I have my claim fulfilled within 48 hours. The customer service is great, and the price of the plans is worth it. I have purchased and used so many times. I will continue to buy.
