I installed these metal differentials in my Typhon 3S after my rear diff decided to destroy itself. The original unit has metal internals but the input and ring gears are made of plastic; they don't last long. So far these upgraded differentials have proven to be very durable and I've not had a single issue after installing them. The only negative thing I can say about them is the price, which seems a little ridiculous. If you can stomach the cost, they are a very solid choice ... show more

    • Excellent official ARRMA Diff kit, for those that run 3S in their 3S ARRMA trucks, BUY THIS.
The media could not be loaded. Excellent front and rear diff kit from the 4S cars for 3S/4S ARRMA RC cars. After about 18 batteries my 3S Big Rock plastic rear diff bit the dust (my fault I think, I ran a battery in half dirt/half grass which I think caused the diff to strip due to a rapid and significant change in traction). Bought this kit (metal gears inside) which had a great price and is a drop-in replacement (look up Youtube howto's, I had to). I replaced both at the same time and the car runs great. No issues. 5/5! ... show more
