Description

The iPhone 13 features a 6.1-inch (155 mm) display with Super Retina XDR OLED technology at a resolution of 2532×1170 pixels and a pixel density of about 460 PPI with a refresh rate of 60 Hz and Dolby Vision HDR. Additional features include a dual-camera system, consisting of a 12MP F1.6 wide-angle and another 12MP F2.4 ultra-wide camera with True Tone flash and lens correction. Both rear cameras have larger sensors with improved light sensitivity and Dolby Vision HDR video recording, but only digital zoom and no optical zoom. The front-facing ultra-wide camera is a 12MP F2.2 one. The iPhone 13 video recording supports 4K videos at 60fps as well as 1080p video at up to 240fps. The iPhone 13 model is available in six colors: Midnight, Starlight, Product Red, Blue, Pink, and Green.

This phone came in a very protective case and box, which I'm thankful for. The screen quality is great, the camera is great, there are a few scratches on the side, which I expected anyway, when buying a refurbished product. The only thing I noticed is that my phone dies at 10% even when on low power mode, which is okay because I did expect a few flaws. This was a gift for our daughter on her 13th birthday, her first phone. The battery health was 95 percent, the body of the phone looked new, and it has worked perfectly for her so far. It was packaged well and shipped fast. The charge cord it came with was generic, but it works. The only reason I am rating it 4 stars rather than five is that the screen had a rather large smudge scratch. Fortunately, once a screen protector was placed on it, the scratch became difficult to see. Given that you pay more for a renewed premium product, I just don’t think the phone’s condition quite meets the promised standard. Even so, overall we are pleased with the purchase so far, and our daughter is happy with the phone. It booted right up and the contents of their old phone transferred while charging the battery fully. Then iOS was updated to the current version. I thought this would be a 5/5 and even wrote a glowing review upon unboxing it and seeing the battery life. The problem is, that it randomly glitches and goes unresponsive. Get's "stuck". Usually in the camera or video setting. Just today it screen went black while using the Marco Polo app. Honestly I wish I'd just went with a new phone. Cosmetically it looks beautiful, but the function is lacking. For a "premium" renewal, I shouldn't have technical issues already, I've only had the phone a couple weeks. I paid over $400 for an iPhone 13.... I could have spent a couple hundred more for a new phone, and I should have.
