Tasty Relief That Works Fast I’ve used TUMS on and off for years, but this Extra Strength Assorted Berries version has become a regular go-to for me. The chewable tablets taste surprisingly good—more like a candy than medicine—and that makes them easy to take when heartburn or acid indigestion strikes. The assorted berry flavor is much more pleasant than the chalky mint types I’ve had in the past. The effectiveness is also reliable. Within a few minutes of chewing, I usually feel the burning sensation fade away, and the relief lasts long enough for me to move on with my day. I also appreciate that these contain calcium carbonate, so while I’m treating my heartburn, I’m also getting a little calcium boost. The tablets come in a well-sealed, portable bottle that slips into a bag or glove compartment easily, so I can keep them close at hand. The only thing to keep in mind is that, like most antacids, they work for quick relief but aren’t meant for long-term or daily use without guidance from a doctor. Always helps for occasional indigestion. But I probably won't buy this flavor again. It is too sweet. And doesn't seem to help as much as the other flavors I've bought that are less sweet. I'm not a straight of peppermint person but I like the tropical a little bit better

i take omeprazole (prilosec) for GERD, but sometimes it wears off later in the night, so these are great for times when the omeprazole isnt enough. they taste pretty good, especially for something made out of calcium carbonate. after chewing one or two, i always feel a lot better. i have no issues with its texture or size, they're fine, id say these are much better quality than the generic version. i'm sure you could travel with these as it has the convenient cap, but you might want to get a smaller container ... show more
