    • Glitchy or there’s ghosts in my trash can
Successfully used this can for about 2 months until it started opening and closing non-stop on its own. Thought it might be fruit flies or something small setting it off, so I killed all of them with insecticide. I reset it several times, turned it off/on, switched to manual button operation and replaced the batteries. Went on for two straight days until I held the mode button down for a whole minute and prayed to God for the ghosts to leave. That seemed to get rid of the fruit fly ghosts. I searched high and low for a mid-sized trash can with a lid. They are surprisingly difficult to find. As soon as I found this one, I ordered it. I purchased a used-like new item, and I received an excellent product. The compartment divider is easy to remove; just find the tiny screws. Battery life appears to be good, and the motion detection works perfectly (even when my cat is sitting on the table above the trash can and swishes her tail.) ... show more

    • Doesn’t last very long
When I got this one towards the end of June, the lid was overly sensitive and would open when just waking by. Now, a little over 3 months later, it’s stuck open and the sensor barely works, even with new batteries. Somehow the separate compartments also cause trash bags to rip open. I’ve had similar trash cans that have lasted for three plus years (I’ve got a husky and toddler that gave it a run for it’s money). Very disappointed. ... show more

    • Touch less garbage pail with dividers
Like the garbage pail but I didn’t like the fact that it had split down the middle and you couldn’t take that split section out and make it one big pail. That’s why I sent it back.

Looks very nice. The brushed stainless finish is very clean and professional. Have it in my waiting room next to our coffee/refreshments bar...auto open function works great. Love the rings that hold the bags in (use 8 gallon bags not 13 gallon bags). Several people have asked for the link on where to buy it. Gonna buy one for my home as well. ... show more

I’ve had this for just over a month and so far I love it. The two compartments actually works well. One side is a little bigger than the other. You could easily use one side for recycling if you wanted to. Easy to change the bags too. I would definitely recommend this product.
