They work quite well. Just a nice sturdy platform with 2 heights and rubber feet to stay still. The top is a bit more slick than I'd like, but my monitors have rubber feet as well, so they stay regardless.

This is a very inexpensive 3" riser that bought to elevate an older monitor to match the height a new 2nd monitor. It comes with extra legs to make it higher buy i did not need it. it very strong and looks great. It holds my 24" Dell monitor w/o any problems. A great purchase.
