This shredder works great! It shreds into tiny particles. It is easy to use. Removing shredded paper is not an issue. It worked from the start. And has safety features on it. It was affordable as compared to other shredders that shred small like this. This is an Amazon version of a micro cut shredder and they produced a nice piece. This is a review after 4 yrs of constant home use. Works still: Yes. Shreds perfectly: YES. Value for money: YES. Problems: NONE but you better not cross 4 or max 5 sheets. I had 3 shredders before this one and ALL failed within 12 to 24 months. To make it last, Amazon sells Amazon branded grease paper for shredders. I use it once quarterly. Absolutely a fantastic buy.

For light house hold use and probably also for light home office use this is a good unit. I bought the 6 page limit which for my purposes is adequate. When shredding its operation is pretty quiet. It does a great job shredding...I just dumped the first load and there is no way any one is going to go through that mess trying to piece anything together. I also shredded some old credit cards one at a time without any issues. On the down side (that's the reason for the 4 star review), the bottom of this unit is extremely thin...probably for cost cutting. As a result my unit came damaged from the weight of the shredder head that's packed inside the receptacle. The shredder head is well packaged, but it's too heavy for the thin plastic base. So before you discard your packing materials make sure the bottom is in one piece. If it's broken the plastic piece is probably in the bottom of the box. In my case fortunately the broken piece was small and all I needed was some clear packing tape on both sides to secure it in place and I was good to go.

Perfect size for what I needed. Compact and out of the way. Did not need a huge micro-cut shredder, just one that when I pay a bill then shred the bill. I went through my stack of backed up envelopes in no time! Quality is outstanding and is very easy to set up and use. The micro-cut pieces are tiny and is great for document security. Please read the directions, there is maintenance needed to keep things like this to continue to work properly.

Heavy, very. Works as claimed. Processed computer paper, bank papers, checks, up to at least 10 sheets per pass. No shutdown. Bin full warning worked. A few minor jams cleared by reversing.
