    • Don't drive with flag installed
The product works well provided you're not moving on the water, the bolt holding the flag pole is not strong enough to keep verticle. I will end up welding in place!!

    • Just okay...turns on the mount even when clamped down.
This holder works in my application but be aware that the 1 7/8' adapters I needed do not fit tightly for the factory tower on a 2005 Yamaha AR230. You will need to add the adhesive backed tape to get it to mount somewhat securely, but it will still turn on the mount somewhat. This doesn't bother me where I've installed it, but YMMV depending on how/where you want to mount it. My Airhead branded flag fits fine. Overall I am satisfied given the price from Warehouse deals, but the unit was damaged from the previous owner's installation; luckily for me I didn't need those particular parts for my install. The design can definitely be improved so if you are on the fence I'd suggest a more expensive alternative. ... show more

Really happy with the quality of this mount, however the sponge-handled flag that is recommended fit quite loosely. I was concerned that the flag could be ejected in rough water or high winds. I drilled and tapped the holder to accept a set screw (see photo), I feel like it should come this way from the factory. ... show more

nice accessory, mounts well onto tower, only reason for 4 vs. 5 stars is the actual screw is a tad of a pain to align/tighten, but works nicely and holds the Kwik Tek flag well, NOTE it's a tad big, so a standard flag will fit but not snug...prior to receiving my Kwik Tek flag I wrapped my other flag with duck tap for a snug fit! ... show more

Does not include the foam sleeve required to use the (recommend) 1” flag pole. Other reviewers have said they did receive the part. Seller description needs to be better relative to pole sizes
