Decent pump that works as designed but construction is kinda weak and sloppy action. Its easy to install in the drums and should fit most drums. It has decent suction but mine had the pickup screen dislodged but i was able to mostly get it in a functional state thus the one star removed. I was using it to transfer gear oil and the viscosity of the gear oil made me worry the handle was going to give out but it survived the first use but not sure how long it will survive pumping a thick fluid like 50wt. The two spots of concern are the hose which I know wont last too long once it gets cold and the handle which is plastic and feels overstressed. Its a good value if you just use it occasionally and/or pump light fluids. Genes 2 cents...

When we bought our property there was a 55 gallon drum left in the shop that was used for used oil. So we started adding to it with all our used oil throughout the years. Then one day it was full and we didn’t have a way to get it out to take it for recycling. This pump did the trick, It was an affordable option and works well. It is made from lightweight aluminum so not sure how long it would hold up under daily use but worked great to pump out our drum and now we have it for the next time it’s full. It’s shipped in a small package and the pieces thread together nicely. I can definitely recommend especially for a DIY’r.

Great pump that is very well made and works well. I haven't had any leaks in the time I've been using it. It is NOT for corrosive chemicals such as brake parts cleaner, ask me how I know haha. Would buy again

Seems like decent quality. The handle is pretty thin, so I would be concerned it will break if the pump jams. There is a strainer on the inlet pipe to prevent particles from jamming the pump, so maybe the handle will be fine. The corrugated white outlet tube is hidden in one of the extension pipes to reduce packaging. Expect a lot of dripping as fluid gets caught in the corrugations. You may need a catch bucket to put the tube into after pumping. It is about 3 feet long, which is not long enough to reach the ground. A better plan would be to buy a 1" rubber hose to replace the corrugated tube. I would have preferred the outlet pipe to be a little taller so that you might be able fit a bucket under the outlet pipe and not need a hose. The housing is diecast aluminum and the internal rotary vanes are plastic. The directions warn against using it for water as it will cause the aluminum to corrode. If you use it for water, you are supposed to flush it with engine oil afterwards. Based on the construction, I would expect it to last so long as you do not use it for water.

Junk. Made from that mystery material that you can't decide if its plastic or some lightweight cast pot metal. Works, but is going to have a lifespan measured in hours, perhaps minutes. Probably the latter if the liquid in the drum is thick or the user vigorous. Assembled easily, and is of the expected size and dimensions of a normal drum pump. But the photos don't reflect the fact that its essentially a children's toy marketed as a garage tool. Oh, and the AI is asking about its noise level...which I can assert is absolutely silent, because it was returned back to its box. The only noise it will make is the sound of hitting the bottom of the waste basket.

This item will always be reliable. I have previously used fuel transfer products, battery powered to be exact, but eventually that would either cause back up on the battery bank or stop working all together. This item is sturdy, high quality made and easy to use. Can transfer 55 gallons with a breeze, it is not difficult for the common man and is quick and efficient.
