The media could not be loaded. This is our first incubator and first time trying to hatch eggs! So far I have zero complaints and everything has been working perfectly. I have 3 silkie eggs going into lockdown tonight and I feel confident I am not going to have to stress about the heat or humidity during that time, based on how well it has been working so far. It is quiet, and doesn’t take up a lot of space, it is a good fit for my kitchen counter. It has been very easy to use straight out of the box, and the durability of it seems great. There is a vent on the lid you can open, close and adjust to help with maintaining the desired heat/humidity, which I have had to adjust a couple times based on the temp/humidity in my kitchen). I found placing a folded towel underneath it helped keep the temp where I wanted it, my counter tops are cold. The water tray is underneath and easy to refill without disturbing the eggs. I appreciate the fact that this incubator automatically turns the eggs, because I would surely forgot that step. I especially love the calendars and the chart of the way the eggs are supposed to be progressing daily. Also, the built in candle light has worked very well. As of the time of me writing this review I would definitely say this is a good value for your money, especially if you use the $10 off coupon from Amazon. I am very happy with it! (Extra bonus is if your power goes out for any reason, once the power is back on it remembers where the settings are and immediately gets back to work. Tip: if power does go off you can cover it with a towel to help hold in the temp and humidity as well as you can close the vent on top). Shipping was quick. I highly recommend this incubator!

I have 3 incubators, all chickcozy incubators! They have been so great, easy to use, size is perfect for my countertop, they are dependable and I’ve had great hatch rates! Chickcozy has a great customer service too!

I am so glad I took the leap and tried this incubator. I love the humidity water tray and how it lets you easily adjust the water without fiddling with the eggs or inner trays. The temperature is SPOT ON. I moved my Govee around the entire thing and it was still within perfect range and no drops like I was experiencing with the NR360. The handle, genius little addition that other incubators have failed to recognize as a luxury. Same for the included washable floor mat. ChickCozy listened and adapted to the suggestions of real “chicken tenders” out there and totally delivered. The buttons don’t have the loud, obnoxious volume of other brands too. I’d love to see more on-brand options for trays (quail and bantam version trays available third party, that works!) and an option for larger unit/scale hatching tray because I can see how it would get crowded on hatch day with larger eggs, but other than that…amazing product! So excited for my first hatch in it.

First time hatcher here.... straight-forward, simple, effective... I don't often review products but I now have 12 little chicks in my brooder and hope to grow the flock further.. Everything worked great! Have yet to clean the incubator so can't comment on that but otherwise thrilled with this product. The temp and humidity information might be a bit off so I do recommend a secondary thermometer/hygrometer setup, but they've got the space already built in for that.

One of the best incubators out there, if not the best. Even though they are very close in performance etc. For me personally, at the moment I would rate this slightly better than the MaticoopX 30. The Chickcozy is a little more compact and fits almost anywhere and is easier to clean. The handle to remove the lid is convenient. The removable tray to add water for humidity is also convenient. Especially for accidents when added too much water. It's easy to remove and dump excess water. If you accidently added too much water in the MaticoopX, it can get complicated, especially if you're new to incubating. The stand/mount to add the govee Hygrometer is a great addition, it's always great to have a second measuring instrument. I was using my chickcozy to hatch coturnix quail eggs. I got hatch rates between 70%-100%. I purchased 3rd party quail egg trays from QuailPrints .Co I had good discount codes. Great, guy! You can also find him on etsy. The trays work great and fit perfect. With the trays, you can hold way more eggs than the MaticoopX even if you had quail trays for the MaticoopX. I'm NOT affiliated with either company, and I'm not paid for this review. But I do hope all parties see this review. I'm leaving this review because i believe the chickcozy team has great customer service and thought I would leave an honest review because they deserve it. In no way is it my intention to put any negative remarks on the MaticoopX 30, as I believe they are more popular and are a very reputable company and are definitely a top choice as well. They both have areas where they perform better than the other. They were my #1 until chickcozy. Now I think they're both are my number #1's. Tough choice to make. Improvements I would expect to see in the future for the Chickcozy: Brighter LCD screen, possibly with colors. Louder beeps for some of the features when pressing buttons. Brackets that holds the lid to the base so you can pick up the entire unit with the handle (Which is what I initially thought it was) Better trays overall. The original chicken egg trays it comes with it is limited by many ways. It should be more versatile. The mount for the govee Hygrometer should have side rails to prevent the Hygrometer from sliding left/right. Further: Automatic humidity control. Would be top of the line! Chickcozy, Keep up the great work! I hope you guys decide to sell more products. Thank you.

Well considering I have 2 and will possibly add more - it's a keeper. Very easy to work with and clean. Temps stay Super solid even with some late frost and temp drops we had. Humidity was not an issue either. The small vent window can get loose so recommend checking on that and scotch tape will hold it fine without damage in a pinch. I didn't have a screw driver small enough so for a temp fix it was fine. Love the silicone matting and the overall setup and ease of use.
